HENDERSON – Charles Allen “Charlie” Brown, 63, of Henderson, passed away July 17, 2024 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Born on September 7, 1960 in Vance County, he was the son of Bessie Beal Wortham of Henderson and the late Arthur Hartwell Brown. He served in the US Marine Reserves and was a member of the Tungsten Baptist Church. He was the president/operations manager of Holland Industrial where he worked for more than 44 years. He was the past president of EASA SE Chapter, Regional II Director of EASA. He served on the Board 2015 – 2019. He also served on the International Board of Directors. A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home by Reverend Will Breedlove. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Teresa Hilliard Brown of the home; one daughter, Tiffany Brown Denton (Johnny Nicholas) of Henderson; one brother, Hartwell Keith Brown; a niece; a nephew, and several great nieces. Serving as pallbearers will be Butch Holland, Neil Gillespie, Bobby Powell, Patrick Brame, Ronnie Garrett, and Shawn Gillespie. Family will receive friends at J.M. White Funeral Home, Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM; and other times at the home. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
