Charles David Wyche, Sr. 88, of Satterwhite Point Road, died Wednesday, September 08, 2021 at his home.Born in the Dabney Community, on May 1, 1933, he was the son of the late Cyril Julian Wyche and Bessie Bottoms Wyche. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church.He also was a mechanic at the former Farm, Tractor & Equipment Co. and later became a self-employed mechanic. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM by Rev. Michael Hobbs in the Flat Rock United Methodist Church Cemetery. Charles is survived by his wife, Peggy Nethery Wyche of the home; his daughter, Karen Wyche Frazier and husband, David Craig Frazier of Henderson; two sons, Charles David Wyche, Jr. of Youngsville and Richard Julian Wyche and wife, Kinzie Bizzell Wyche of Apex; six grandchildren, Dr. Melissa Wyche Sirois and husband, Travis, Jeremy David Wyche, Jaclyn Elizabeth Wyche, Sidney Jordan Wyche, Emily Frazier Aycock and husband, Brandon, and Katie Lynn Frazier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Wyche Casper. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Richardson, Thomas Richardson, Lawrence Elliott, Jimmy Blanks, David Wyche Parham, Jim Nethery and Frank Powell.
