HENDERSON-Charles Ernest Ellis, Jr., age 54, a resident of 830 Dabney Drive, died Wednesday October 3, 2012 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born March 19, 1958 in Vance County, he was the son of Charles Ernest Ellis Sr. of Henderson and the late Virginia West Ellis.He was the owner and operator of Ellis Mobile Home Service.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He survived by his wife, Patricia Patsy Davis Ellis of the home; a daughter, Blair Frances Ellis of the home; a son, Chuck Ellis of Henderson; a sister, Kay Ellis Correia of Henderson; and two brothers, Tim Ellis and Kirk Ellis, both of Henderson.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Ellis.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 PM till 8:30 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of his father, Charles E. Ellis, Sr., at 526 Vincent-Hoyle Road.
Serving as pall bearers will be Ted Harris, Tim Harris, Norman Crowder, James Donald Ellis,
Lawrence Harris, Bobby West, Dave Lee, and Justin Williamson.
Arrangements are by J.M. White Funeral Home.
