HENDERSON- Mr. Charles Randolph Furniss, Sr., age 71, a resident of 308 Yowland Road, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his home.Born in Richmond, VA on June 20, 1944 he was the son of the late Charles West Furniss and Helen Jones Furniss.He was a Veteran of the United States Army and attended Crystal River Church of God.Charles designed and built his own guns, was a gunsmith for Guptons Gun Shop and was an avid trap shooter and rifleman.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg by Rev. Charles Ray Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Gupton Furniss of the home; his daughter, Deborah Perry (Russ) of Clarksville, MD; his son, Charles Randolph Furniss, Jr. (Wendy) of Richmond, VA; his step-son, Steven Scott Roberson of Henderson; and five grandchildren, Ashleigh Perry, Keelin Perry, Arden Perry, Kinsey Perry, and Charles R. Trey Furniss, III.
The family will receive friends at the home and also following the service in the fellowship hall of Crystal River Church of God.
