HENDERSON-Charles Freddie McGhee, age 69, a resident of 133 Daisy Lane, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Durham Specialty Hospital.Born on February 23, 1944 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Frankie Mae McGhee and Hawk Sparrow.Mr. McGhee served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was employed at GeminiMobile Home Manufacturing.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Shelia Fuller McGhee of the home; and one son, Charles Freddie McGhee, Jr. of the home.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church. At other times they will be at the home at 133 Daisy Lane, off Faulkner Town Road.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
