Funeral services will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Flat Rock United Methodist Church by Rev. Robin Farner.Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Charles is survived by his wife, Louise Choplin Parham of the home; his children, Sharon P. Reese, Keith Parham, Darrin Moore and Robin Parham, all of Henderson; his step-daughter, Diane Walker (Bob), of Henderson; his brother, Wiley Parham (Claire) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Chris Fisher (Scarlette), Adrian Fisher (Kathryn), Cory Smith (Brittney), Hayley Compton (Travis), Kara Reese, Michael Reese (Brooke), Matthew Reese, Daniel Reese (Morgan), Graci Parham, Bradley Parham, Alexis Parham, Sam Moore, Cory Moore and Stephanie Walker; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step daughter, Cheryl Hanks; three brothers, Parke Lewis, Samuel Oliver and Billy Parham; and two sisters, Patsy Blackwelder and Edna Mae Thomasson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Thompson, Al Grissom, Patrick Bailey, Mack Choplin, David Parham, Parke Parham, Wade Parham, Russell Thomasson and Bart Thomasson.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church and at other times at the home, 2620 Nutbush Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Flat Rock United Methodist Church, C/O Patricia Twisdale, 2560 Satterwhite Point Road, Henderson, NC 27573.
