Charles Newcomb Roberson Sr.

HENDERSON-Charles Newcomb Roberson, Sr., 78, a resident of Allen Road, passed away Thursday July 3, 2025, at Warren hills Nursing Home. Born December 17, 1946, in Vance County, Charles was the son of the late Otha Roberson and Irene Ellington Roberson and was the widower of Dorothy Gosney Roberson. He was retired from Con Fo Hosiery Mill. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday July 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Jeff Prewer. The family will visit with friends following the service at Sunset Gardens. He is survived by his special friend, Tamra Wells of Henderson; one step-daughter, Tabatha Powers; one sister, Mary France Roberson Norwood of Wake Forest; four grandchildren, Justin Roberson, Jessica Roberson, Candace Powers, and Lindsey Powers; and several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, Charles N. Roberson Jr., and one brother, Leon Hayden Roberson Sr. Anyone wishing to view Charles may do so Monday July 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.
