KITTRELL-Charles Franklin Stone, 62, a resident of 156 Buffalo Mill Road, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019.Born on August 26, 1956 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Leslie Lewis Stone and Mary Charles Smith Stone.
Charles was employed with Buffalo Milling Company and was a member of Freedom Life Church of God where he served as an usher.
Memorial services will be held Friday at 11 am at Freedom Life Church of God by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.
He is survived by two daughters, Christina Stone of Wallace and Mary Charles Stone-Hall (Channon) of Seven Springs; one brother, Allen Stone of Henderson; two nephews, Chris Stone and Johnathon Stone; niece, Kimberly Johnson; and two grandchildren, Aurora Vanname and Maddison Hall.
The family will receive friends on Friday prior to the service from 10 until 11 am at Freedom Life Church of God.
Serving as honorary pall bearers will be the ushers of Freedom Life Church of God.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Freedom Life Church of God, 1001 Martin Creek Road, Henderson, NC27537 or to Scotts Hill Baptist Church Men’s Group, 185 Scotts Hill Loop Road, Wilmington, NC28411.
