HENDERSON-Charles Michael Mike Twisdale, age 66, a resident of 1462 Ruin Creek Road, died Monday, July 31, 2017, at Hock Family Pavilion.Born on November 21, 1950 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Louise Overby Twisdale and Charlie Sidney Twisdale.Mike was a retired supervisor at the former Roses Warehouse.Hewas an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed playing golf and having cookouts with his buddies.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 3,2017 at 11 am in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bob Inskeep. A committal will follow in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church immediately following the committal service.
He is survived by his wife, Christie Robinson Twisdale of the home; four sons, Scottie Twisdale of Wilson, Mac Twisdale of Stantsburg, Michael Twisdale and Trent Ayscue (Tonya) of Henderson; one sister, Kay T. Satterwhite of Henderson; one brother, Sonny Twisdale (Rosa) of Henderson; five grandchildren, Brittany Twisdale, Austin Twisdale, Michaela Boykin (Jordan), Lindsey Twisdale and Savannah Ayscue; two great grandchildren, Bricelyn and John Luke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Outdoor Fellowship Facility, c/o Cindy Jones, 100 Hicksboro Road, Henderson, NC27537.
