HENDERSON- Chelsey Nicole Smith, 23, of Rock Mill Road, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at home.Born in Mecklenburg County, VA, she was the daughter of Franklin Scott Smith, Sr. of Chase City, VA and Angela Davis Smith of the home.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00PM by Rev. Mark Bateman in the Haithcock Family Cemetery in Warrenton.
In addition to her parents, Chelsey is survived by two brothers, Michael Carroll of Henderson and Scottie Smith of Chase City, VA; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Haithcock Davis Hudson of Henderson; an uncle, C.W. Davis, III (Donna) of Henderson; an aunt, Teresa Branch (Dale); and many loving cousins and relatives.
Chelsey was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Carroll; maternal grandfather, Claude Wilson Davis, Jr.; paternal grandparents, David and Bettie Smith; and maternal step-grandfather, Ed Hudson.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:15 until 2:00 on Saturday at the cemetery.
