HENDERSON-Christeen Hissong Floyd, 51, a resident of 2001 Walter Bowen Road, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Maria Parham Health after a brief illness.
Born on November 13, 1967 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late William E. Hissong, Sr and Ruth Smith Hissong.
Christeen received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and was employed with Maxim Health Care.She formerly attended North Henderson Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ralph McGowan.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen R. Griffith of the home; one step-son, Justin Stephen Griffith of Graham; one sister, Kimberly Hissong Hunt (Scott) of Henderson; two brothers, William E. Hissong, Jr. (Carolyn) of Henderson; and Jeffrey Larry Hissong, Sr. (Teresa) of Myrtle Beach; one niece, AmyJo Hissong Ramsey; and three nephews, Jeffrey Larry Hissong II, Drew Alexander Hissong, and Zackery Scott Hunt.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home.
