Christine Elliott Callis

HENDERSON-Christine Elliott Callis, age 77, a resident of 2195 Satterwhite Point Road, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Rex Hospital.Born in Vance County on May 25, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Claude Elliott and Viola Woody Elliott, and was the widow of Charles Louis Callis.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Associated Brokers and was a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Flat Rock United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dr. Michael Hobbs. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Edna Elliot of Fayetteville; one son, Kyle Garrison and wife, Tracy of Louisburg; one brother, Franklin Elliott and wife, Jane of Monroe; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 until 8:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Sean Meyer, Randy Ennis, Eric Emerson, Sanford Pinion, John Collar, and Steve Barrett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
