HENDERSON-Christine Cash Perry, age 69, a resident of 414 Parham Road, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at her home.Born on April 8, 1945 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Garland C, Cash and Alise Harris Cash.
Christine was the former owner and operator of Bits & Pieces Child Care.She was the former owner and operator of the former Montgomery Ward Catalog Sales, a former employee of Roses Stores, Inc. and Maria Parham Medical Center.She was a member of Harriett Baptist Church where she was very active in all church activities.
Funeral services will be held Sunday night at 7 pm at Harriett Baptist Church by Pastor Will Breedlove.Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 pm at Sunset Gardens by Pastor Will Breedlove and Rev. Jake Roberson.
She is survived by her husband, William Joseph "Billy" Perry of the home; one daughter, Cindy P. Pernell and husband, Tommy of Kittrell; two sons, William Edwin "Eddie" Perry and wife, Audrey of Henderson, and Michael W. Perry and wife, Tonya of Oxford; six grandchildren, Kimberly D. Holtzmann, Brandon W. Perry, Joshua G. Pernell, Tyler M. Perry, Alex Perry, and Amber Dawn Perry; one step great grandchild, Michael P. Holtzmann; and one sister, Patricia Ann Roberson of Burlington.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert E. Cash.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5 until 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Harriett Baptist Church.
Serving as pall bearers will be her grandsons, Brandon Perry, Joshua Pernell, Tyler Perry, Alex Perry, and Michael Holtzmann.
