HENDERSON- Christopher Thomas Anstead, 40, of Flemingtown Road, died Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at his home.Born in Vance County on January 2, 1980, he was the son of Floyd Thomas Anstead and Katherine Stainback Anstead.He was a former salesman at Advance Auto Parts.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Sunset Gardens by Rev. Ricky Easter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Mary Katherine Anstead and finance William McConnell Jr. of Norlina; two uncles, Billy Anstead and wife, Larissa of Henderson and Kenney Stainback and wife, Crystal of South Carolina; an aunt, Patsy Pegram and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Macy and Odelle Stainback and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Maggie Anstead.
The family will receive friends following the service on Friday.
