HENDERSON-Christopher N. Clopton, age 45, a resident of 1188 Cheatham Mabry Road, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at his home.Born in Vance County on July 20, 1966, he was the son of Mary Leonard Lee of Henderson and the late Jesse W. Clopton, Jr.
He was a former employee of Brown & Sons Construction Co., and attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Frank Sossamon and the Rev. Aaron Leonard.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Victoria Renee Clopton of Charlotte; one sister, Holly Sossamon of Henderson; andhis step-father, Buddy Lee of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jeremy Clopton, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church. At other times they will be at the home at 1188 Cheatham Mabry Road.
