Christopher "Chris" Harris

KITTRELL- William Christopher “Chris” Harris, 24, of Raintree Lane, died Sunday, September 4, 2022. Born December 10, 1997 in Vance County, he was the son of Kay Beckham Thompson of Kittrell and Jeffrey Harris of Henderson. He was a supervisor at Idaho Timber and was a member of Plank Chapel where he was active in the Methodist Men. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church by Dr. Carolyn Roy. Burial will follow in the Beckham Family Cemetery at Union Chapel Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step mother, Kim Harris of Henderson; his step-father, Charles E. Thompson, Jr. of Kittrell; five brothers, Hayden Harris of Kittrell, C.T. Thompson, III of Kittrell, Chase Thompson of Kittrell, Connor Harris of Henderson and Ryan Toone of Henderson; a sister, Breanna Harris of Henderson; his grandparents, Frances Beckham, W.C. Harris, Jr. (Patricia), Ellen Thompson, Mary Ayscue and Billy Stevenson, Sr. (Lisa). He was preceded in death by grandfathers Larry Beckham, Sr. and Charles Thompson, Sr. The family will receive friends at the home of Kay and Charles Thompson, Jr., 133 Bristol Meadows Road, Kittrell, NC, 27544 and the home of Patricia and W.C. Harris, 152 Pineview Road, Henderson, NC 27537. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Davis, Austin West, Montavis Grey, Connor McFalls, Blake Elliott and Asa Thomas. Anyone wishing to view Christopher may do so on Thursday from noon until 5:00 PM or Friday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
