Christy Ann Worley, age 16, a resident of 1550 Oak Ridge Church Road, died Saturday, August 12, 2017, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Born on January 6, 2001 in Vance County, she was the daughter of Crystal Hedgepeth ofHenderson and Philip Gray Hunt, Sr. of Henderson.
Christy was a rising Junior at Warren New Tech High School in Warrenton and was also employed as a cashier at McDonalds and TacoBell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Ray Anderson.Burial will follow in the Oakridge Baptist Church cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Kristin Hunt of Henderson; one brother, Philip G. Hunt, Jr. of Henderson; and her maternal great grandparents, Marie and Glenn DeMent of Henderson.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 1:30 until 3:00 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Marie and Glenn DeMent, 412 Finch Road, Henderson, NC.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Philip Hunt, David Ellis, Jr., William Ellis, Christina Ayscue, Glenn DeMent, Justin Barnett, and Aaron Robertson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christy Ann Worley Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536.
