Clarence Taylor Nethery, Jr.

HENDERSON-Clarence Taylor Nethery, Jr., age 86, a resident of Buckskin Lane, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Peak Resources in Graham. Born March 4, 1938 in Vance Co. he was the son of the late Clarence Taylor Nethery and Virginia Faulkner Nethery and was the widow of Marion Linda Neathery. Mr. Nethery was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church where he was a former member of the church choir. He was retired from Variety Wholesalers where he was a District Retail Manager. Taylor was also a former Mason and Shriner and was Club Director of the Civitan Club of Lexington and was on the Board of Adjustments in Washington. No services are planned at this time. Taylor is survived by two daughters, Page Ballard and husband Don Ballard of New River AZ and Penny Glover and husband Dr. Elbert D. Glover of Greensboro; one grandson, Jack Ballard of Austin, TX, and one granddaughter, Paris Glover of Greensboro; one sister, Gray N. Matthews of McLean, VA; and two cousins, John Nethery and J. W. Nethery. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Nethery Baker and granddaughter, Megan Ballard.
