TOWNSVILLE-Clay William Rowland, Jr., age 77, a resident of 711 Pollyanna Road, died Monday, February 4, 2013, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on March 7, 1935 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late C.W. Rowland, Sr. and Mytrice Fredrick Rowland.Mr. Rowland was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a retired Senior Designer for Monsanto in the Research Triangle Park.
No services will be held.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Dixon Rowland of the home; one son, Bryant Clay Rowland of Hampstead, NC; and one sister, Elaine Rowland Coats of Flagler Beach, FL.
