HENDERSON- Craig Alan Smiley, 35, a resident of 2255 Barker Road, died Friday, March 29, 2019.Born in Vance County on April 26, 1983 he was the son of Robert Wayne Smiley and Debra Twisdale Smiley of Oxford.He was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 4:00 PM by Rev. David Pate.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Brooke Smiley of Wilmington, two nieces, Rowan Smiley and Layla Bell; his maternal grandparents, Macon and Bettye Twisdale of Townsville; and his beloved dog, Roxy.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas Smiley and Katie Williamson Smiley.
The family will receive friends following the service on Thursday in the fellowship hall of Tabernacle United Methodist Church and at other times at the home.
