KITTRELL-Crawford Erwin Moss, 73, a resident of 2753 Rocky Ford Road, died Friday, April 13, 2018, at his home, peacefully surrounded by his family.Born on July 1, 1944 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Donald Richard Moss and Nettie Hicks Moss, and was the widower of Juanita Inscoe Moss.Erwin was owner and operator of Mosss Lawn Care and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2pm in the chapel of J. M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Jonathan Owens.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie M. Shearon and husband, Jay of Louisburg; one son, Donald Wayne Moss and wife, Lisa of Henderson; three grandchildren, Melissa Pittman, Nathaniel Moss, and Nicholas Crawford Moss; one great grandson, Levi Pittman; and a special friend, Jeanette Rodwell of the home.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7 until 8:30 at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Wayne and Lisa Moss at 458 Henry Ayscue Road, Henderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Stegall, Delbert Slaughter, Ricky Overby, Buster Hicks, Tommy Cottrell, James Moore, Jason Dickerson, Anthony Dickerson, David Buchanan, and Todd Meador.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kelly Slaughter with Amedysis Hospice and Dr. Ivy Altomare and staff at Maria Parham Cancer Center.
