Crystal Ivey Reeder

Crystal Diane Ivey Reeder, 62, of Franklinton, died Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the home of her daughter. Crystal was born August 27, 1962 in Vance County and was the daughter of the late Carolyn Griffin Ivey and James Billy Ivey, Sr. She retired after 30 years from Vance County Social Services as Food and Nutrition Supervisor and she was a member of Carey Baptist Church. Crystal was devoted to her three girls and especially her five grandchildren. She was always present at ballgames and school functions. She will always be known for her love of red lipstick, red fingernails, high heels and leopard print. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, working in her yard, pool time and vacationing at the beach with her family. A memorial service will be held Friday September 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Carey Baptist Church by Rev. Al James. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 until 12:00 PM in the Carey Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. She is survived by three daughters, Kristen Moss (Andrew) of Greenville, NC, Leah Fuller (Daniel) of Youngsville, NC, and Allie Reeder of Greenville, NC; two brothers, Barney Ivey of Lillington, NC and Billy Ivey (Kim) Buxton, NC; two sisters, Kim Owen (Mike) of Henderson, NC and Janey Ann Ivey of Louisburg, NC; five grandchildren, Colt, Case, Crew, Brynlee and Bayleigh.
