Curtis Wade "Bone" Claiborne

HENDERSON- Curtis Wade Claiborne, 63, of Hicksboro Road, died Sunday, April 13, 2025 at his home. Born December 10, 1961 in Granville County, he was the son of Nancy Beal Claiborne of Oxford and the late Curtis Lee Claiborne. He retired from Certainteed where he was a supervisor. Curtis enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially fishing. He was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church where a memorial service will be Friday, April 18, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.by Rev. Johnny Yount. Curtis is survived by his wife, Amy Moss Claiborne of the home; his daughter, Jessica Claiborne of Oxford; his son, Brandon Moss of the home; his grandson, Landon Adcock; his granddaughter, Lily Eakes; two sisters, Audrey Reams of Oxford and Joyce Parker of Nelson, VA; and three brothers, John Claiborne of Bullock, Toney Claiborne of Henderson and Timmy Claiborne of Oxford. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday in the fellowship hall from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Island Creek Baptist Church, 950 Stagecoach Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
