KITTRELL- Lottie Cynthia Roadifer Garner, age 73, of Kittrell, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Wilmington. Born on August 26, 1943 in Sundance, Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Roadifer and the late Marjorie Bosworth Roadifer. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Durwood Ray Garner; and one son, Trent Ray Garner, and 8 siblings. Cynthia spent many years operating her own wallpaper business. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith.
Cynthia is survived by one son, Stephen Garner and wife, Lori, of Wilmington; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Garrett of New York, NY and Kaylee Garner of Henderson;
two brothers, Ernie Roadifer and wife, Judy, of Rogersville, MO, and Wayne Roadifer and wife, Pam, of Sheridan, WY; two sisters-in-law, Josie Roadifer of Ekalaka, MT, and Cathy Roadifer of Greely, CO. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at11 am in the J. M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Harper. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
