Dale Ayscue Abbott

HENDERSON- Dale Ayscue Abbott, 65, of Raleigh Road, died Sunday, November 28, 2021 at her home. Born in Vance County on April 30, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Jean E. Ayscue and Billie T. Ayscue, Sr. She was a retired payroll clerk at Vance Furniture Company. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2 pm in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Henry Abbott. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens. Dale is survived by her husband, Robert Leonard “Bobby” Abbott of the home; her sister, Gale A. Fleming of Henderson; her brother, Billie T. Ayscue, Jr. of Henderson; a niece, Priscilla G. Moss; two nephews, William A. Bowes, Jr. and Robert Dennis West, Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Teresa A. Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn A. West and a brother, Stacey A. Ayscue. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1 pm until 2 pm at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home.
