TOWNSVILLE-Dan William Tucker, age 88, loving and faithful husband of 61 years, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at his home.Born on October 15, 1925 in Rochester, New York, he was the son of the late William Brady Tucker and Mildred Snyder Tucker Hill.
Dan was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during World War II.He was a retired Inspector at Eastman Kodak where he worked for 34 years, and was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.
A memorial service with Military Honors will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11 am at Rock Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. Gary Brummitt.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Fahm Tucker of the home; one daughter, Diane M. Tucker Engherth of Henderson; one son, Steven D. Tucker of Rochester, NY; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Saturday in the Fellowship Hall at Rock Spring Baptist Church.
