LOUISBURG-David Lee Abbott, Sr., 69, a resident of Louisburg Healthcare, died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Transitions Lifecare in Raleigh.Born on December 13, 1951 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Floyd Abbott and Bertha Roberson Abbott.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, May 17, 2021, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the home of Evelyn and Mike Abbott, 126 Winn Drive, Louisburg, NC27549.
He is survived by one son, David Lee Abbott, Jr. of Henderson; one daughter, Angela Wieland of Clayton; six grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Twisdale of Henderson; and two brothers, Buster Abbott (Sandra) of Kittrell, and Mike Abbott (Evelyn) of Louisburg.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Abbott; two sisters, Paulette A. Boyd and Janet A. Newhouse; three brothers-in-law, John Twisdale, Sr., Roy Newhouse, and William Boyd.
