HENDERSON- David Hunter Inscoe, Sr., 60, a resident of 501 S. Cooper Drive, died Monday, June 27, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.Born in Vance County on May 16, 1956 he was the son of the late Ira Hunter and Gwen Johnson Inscoe.He was a self employed carpenter.
David attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM conducted by Rev. Frank Sossamon and Rev. Rodney Inscoe. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Joanie Dickerson Inscoe of the home; his daughter, Stephanie Ranes and husband, Jim; his son, David Hunter Inscoe, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law StacyInscoe all of Henderson; five grandchildren, David Inscoe, III, Casey Inscoe, Justin Ranes, Aiden Ranes, and Logan Stewart; andtwo brothers,Rev. Rodney Inscoe, Sr., and wife, Dot and Charles Dickie Inscoe both of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Scott Inscoe.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 till 8:30 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Stephanie and Jim Ranes, 906 Old Epsom Road.
Serving as pallbearers will be J.D. Adcock, Charles Hilliard, Buster Roberts, Jeff Ranes, Robby Ross, Mike West and Milton Tart.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the David Inscoe Funeral Fund C/O J.M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
