David Parker Key

David Parker Key, age 70, a resident of 7120 NC 39 Hwy. North, died Thursday, November 3, 2011, from injuries received in an automobile accident.Born in Surry County on December 3, 1940, he was the son of Helen Snow Key of Henderson and the late Marvin H. Key.
Mr. Key was a retired Manager of the former Woolworth Company.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Abidan Shah.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Steven P. Key and David Wayne Key both of Henderson; two brothers, Tommy L. Key and Donald Dean Key both of Henderson; and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hinson Key,
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Sunset Gardens and at other times at the home at 7120 NC Hwy. 39 North.
