Deborah Daniel Moses

HENDERSON-Deborah Daniel “Debby” Moses, 72, a resident of Franklin Lane died Wednesday November 22, 2023 at her home. Born in Vance County on March 31, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Margaret Smith Daniel and Frank Leonard Daniel and as the widow of Norman Clark “Butch” Moses. Debby spent many years working as a computer programmer for Harriet & Henderson Yarns. She will be remembered for her quick wit, lifelong passion for rescuing and caring for animals, and her selfless approach to life. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church by the Rev. George Loveland. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM in the church Fellowship Hall and following the service at the home. Debby is survived by her nieces, Miriam Elise Reiser of Henderson and Julie Elizabeth Emory of Southern Shores; mother in law, Beulah Moses Clark of Kitty Hawk; sister in law, Gloria Moses Emory of Kitty Hawk; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vance County Animal Shelter, 1243 Brodie Road, Henderson NC, 27537.
