TOWNSVILLE-Deborah Guinn Twisdale, age 60, a resident of 15255 NC 39 North, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at her home.Born in Annapolis, Maryland on May 6, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Cecil Guinn and Anita Tyler Twisdale.She was a retired co-founder of Area Hearing Center on Dabney Drive, having retired in 2012.Deborah was a member ofTabernacle United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 3:00 PM at Tabernacle United Methodist Church by the Rev. Kathryn Johnson and the Rev. Henry Lovelace.
She is survived by her husband, Norwood D. Twisdale, Jr. of the home; one daughter, Heather Twisdale of Alexandria, Virginia; one son, Jacob Twisdale and wife, Amanda of Townsville; one sister, Jeanette Trader of Colonial Heights, VA; and one grandson, Evan D.
Beaudet of Townsville.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Joan Deets.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.At other times they will be at the home in Townsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Vance County Relay For Life, P. O. Box 914, Henderson, NC27536.
