HENDERSON-Mrs. Delores Satterwhite Hendricks, age 67, a resident of 169 Willow Oak Drive, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her home.Born in Vance County on February 11, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Miller Satterwhite and Jesse Marshall Satterwhite.She was a member of Harriet Baptist Church where funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM by Pastor Will Breedlove and Rev. Tammy Ayscue.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
Mrs. Hendricks is survived by her husband, Larry Hendricks of the home; two daughters, Joy H. Grissom and husband Scott of Kittrell, and Christy H. Brummitt of Midlothian, VA; three sisters, Paula S. Kearney of Henderson, Shelia S. Breedlove of Henderson, and Carolyn S. Ayscue of Locust Grove, GA; a brother, Dennis Satterwhite of Henderson; and three grandchildren, Joshua Lee Griffin, Dustin Blake Brummitt and Hailey Ryan Grissom.
The family will receive friends at the home of Joy and Scott Grissom, 137 Woodlief Road, Kittrell.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Mark McCall, Kevin Pahl, Michael Breedlove, Dennis Paschall, Brian Jones and Herbie Grissom.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box
914, Henderson, NC 27536.
