HENDERSON- Delores Jane Weaver Vaughan, age 65, a resident of 1250 Fuller Street, died Monday, August 24, 2015 at Nash General Hospital.Born February 2, 1950 in Vance County she was the daughter of the late William Weaver and Lillian Mae Hedegpeth Weaver.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Ernie Bowes and Pastor Thomas Lee.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by four daughters, Jean V. Parker (Rafe) , Angela V. Cruz (Celso), Dorothy V. Tuck and Melissa V. Harris all of Henderson; a brother, Melvin Weaver (Jean) of Hickory; a sister, Florence W. Faucette (Clarence) of Henderson; twenty-one grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and her former husband, Leon Ray Vaughan.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 2:00 PM Thursday at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Rafe and Jean Parker, 5218 Satterwhite Point Road, Henderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Currin, Paul Currin, Jr., Leandro Gonzalez, Dustin Parker, Robert Faulkner and Christopher Hunt.
