HENDERSON-Dennis Allen Clark, age 59, a resident of Henderson died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Vance County on October 18, 1954, he was the son of Helen West Clark and James Allen Clark of Henderson.Dennis served in the North Carolina National Guard.He was retired from City Tire, Inc. and was a member of City Road United Methodist Church.
Graveside Services will be held Tuesday at 3 pm at Elmwood Cemetery by Rev. Jake Roberson and Rev. Cleveland Harrison.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Deborah Cox Clark of the home; one step-daughter, Nicole Stallings of Henderson; three sisters, Pam C. Hughes and husband, Lee of Henderson, Dianne C. Roberts and husband, Charles of Summerfield, and Kim C. Blalock of Henderson; two grandchildren, Cody Dement and Matthew Dement; two nephews, Anthony Wade and wife Jennifer and Chad Wade and wife Katie; four nieces, Heather Wade, Tiffany Isgett and husband Matt, Shelby Roberts and Callie Roberts.
The family will receive friends at the home of Helen and James Clark at 1269 Oakridge Avenue.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
