Dianne Lowry Edwards

HENDERSON- Dianne Marie Lowry Edwards, 75, of Highway 39 S, died Friday, July 10, 2026 at her home. Born January 2, 1951 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Marie Abbott Lowry and Charlie P. Lowry, II.

Dianne retired from Mast Drug where she worked as a bookkeeper in the corporate office for more than 37 years. She enjoyed sports and took great joy in being a Duke fan and avid NASCAR fan, specifically a Jeff Gordan fan. The sporting events she enjoyed the most were those her grandchildren and great granddaughter were playing. She also loved to travel to the mountains.

Memorial service arrangements will be announced.

She is survived by her husband, William H. Edwards, Jr. of the home; a daughter, Christy Drake, two sons, Robert Edwin Cash, Jr. and Buck Edwards (Tina), all of Henderson; five grandchildren, Jesse Dianne Hill (Alex), Jackson Edwards (Kaylee), Abbey Drake (Forrest), Leighton Cash (Carrie) and Grant Cash (Savannah); a great granddaughter, Everleigh Marie Hill; several nieces and nephews, including Tracy Ayscue and J.R. Lowry; and her beloved dog, “Hank.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jessie Ray Lowry, Sr. and Charlie Pete Lowry, III.
