HENDERSON- Beloved Donald Lee Coffel, age 75, a resident of Henderson, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Maria Parham Medical Center.His caring nature and laughter will be missed by all who knew him.Born on July 3, 1941 in Campbell, MO he was the son of the late Virgil Lee Coffel and Martha Marie Brown Coffel.He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in Vietnam.He also was a retired employee of the Fairfax County School System in Virginia.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 21 at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, VA.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Krohn Coffel; two sons, Donald Joseph Coffel and Anthony Donald Coffel; a brother, Michael Coffel of Snellville, GA.; and a sister, Norma Hankins of Eureka, MO.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Coffel and Joseph Coffel.
