Henderson-Donald Ralph Springer, Sr., age 68, a resident of 106 Brookcove Way, died Saturday, October 05, 2013, at his home.Born on May 8, 1945 in Trenton, Maine, he was the son of the late Gertrude and Charles Henry Springer. He was retired from J.P. Taylor.
No services are planned at this time.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Shepherd Springer of the home; five step-daughters, Wanda Hedgepeth, Jamie Thomas, Mary Hilliard, Elizabeth Robertson, and Cynthia Johnson; three step-sons, Morris Allen West, Benjamin Dale West, and Douglas Eugene West; fifteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home at 106 Brookcove Way. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Donald Ralph Springer, Sr. Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536.
