Donna Strange Parrott, 70, a resident of 110 Parrott Road, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.Born on May 14, 1946 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Allen Strange and Elsie Harris Strange.Donna was a homemaker and a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 am at Poplar Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
She is survived by her husband, Charles David Parrott of the home; one daughter, Jaime Elizabeth Parrott of Creedmoor; two sons, Charles Brian Parrott of Henderson and David Scott Parrott and wife, Jennifer of Oxford; one sister, Drucilla Strange Orr of Williston, SC; one brother, Ron Strange of Henderson; and five grandchildren, William David Parrott, Emma Lee Parrott, Hayes Michael Parrott, Tanner Scott Parrott, and Haiden Allen Parrott.
The family will receive friends following the service at Poplar Creek Baptist Church.
At other times they will be at the home at 110 Parrott Road.
