Donnie Wayne Parrish

HENDERSON- Donnie Wayne Parrish, 50, of Tarheel Lane, died Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Duke University Medical Center. Born June 7, 1974, he was the son of the late Jo Ann Travis Parrish and Jerry Rogers Parrish, Sr. Wayne was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and also attended Freedom Life Church of God. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 21, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Prewer. Burial will follow in the Travis Family Cemetery. Wayne is survived by his wife, Cynthia Walker Parrish of the home; his sister, Andrea P. McDaniel and husband, Timmy of Henderson; his brother, Jerry R. Parrish, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Henderson; and his beloved dog, “Chloe.” The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday at J.M. White Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M.; and at other times at the home of Sheila Walker, 544 South Cooper Drive, Courtyard #1, Apt. 44, Henderson, NC 27536. Serving as pallbearers will be Chuck Parrish, Mark Parrish, Timmy McDaniel, Stanley Parrish, Ricky Travis, Lupe Maldonado, T.J. Harris and Johnny Parrish.
