Dorothy Ayscue Arnold

HENDERSON-Dorothy Jane Ayscue Arnold, 78, a resident of 656 Eaves Road, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, at her home.Born in Vance County on March 31, 1937, she was the daughter of the late David Ayscue and Val Journigan Ayscue, and was the widow of Williams Jeffries Arnold.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home by Chaplain Mike Shannon.Burial will follow in the Spence Family Cemetery at Rocky Ford.
She is survived by one daughter, Jo Ann White of Tampa, FL; three sons, Phillip White of Baltimore, MD, Danny Lee Dunn and Dale Dunn of Henderson; three sisters, Helen Parham, Neita White, and Pauline Rigsby; two brothers, Buck Ayscue, and Hubert "Beetle" Ayscue; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Kay Long and Deborah Spence.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until 2 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home, 656 Eaves Road, Henderson.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Clint Harris, Chris Spence, Steven Spence, Jacob Davis, Leroy Holder, and Glenn Roberts.
