Douglas Dean "Doug" Robinson, 58, a resident of Satterwhite Point Road, died Thursday, August 6, 2020, at his home.Born on November 19, 1961 in Vance County, he was the son of the late William McKenley Robinson and Allie Mae Matthews Robinson.He was the owner and operator of the former Kerr Lake Marine Service and was a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Tucker Robinson; three daughters, Jennie Laureen Robinson-Hayes (Bruce) of Raleigh, Sarah Marie Robinson of Louisburg, and Kellie Michaela Robinson of Raleigh; one sister, Brenda Robinson Peoples of Franklinton; and one brother, Larry Wayne Robinson of Townsville; and his faithful 4 legged companions, "Sampson" and "Severus".In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Andrew Robinson.
The family will receive friends at the home, 4931 Satterwhite Point Road, on Saturday, August 8, 2020, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
