Douglas Ashley Falkner

HENDERSON – Douglas Ashley Falkner, 70, of East Young Avenue, died Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Born, July 1, 1954 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Agnes Futrell and Douglas T. Falkner. Doug was in the Real Estate industry where he was a self-employed property manager and was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Vance Senior High School and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and he graduated from the University of Southern California where he received his Master’s Degree. A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. George Loveland. He is survived by one sister, Fon F. Cornwell, of Hickory; one brother, Steve Falkner (Kathy) of Henderson; two nieces, Mallory F. Furlow (Justin), and Alyssa Falkner; and one nephew, Wes Cornwell (Tanya).
