Earl Ray Mcdaniel

HENDERSON-Earl Ray McDaniel, Sr., age 61, a resident of 420 D.Y. Hoyle Lane, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at his home.Born on October 30, 1951 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Thomas William McDaniel, Sr. and Mary Grace Weaver McDaniel.He was employed as an Electrician with Breedlove Electric Company.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 PM at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Anstead McDaniel of the home; one daughter, Cristy McDaniel Creech and husband, Scott of Louisburg; one son, Earl Ray McDaniel, Jr. and wife Ashley of Henderson; one step-son, Jason Matthews; one step-daughter, Christie Matthews of Henderson; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three sisters, Annie Mae M. Hoyle and Martha M. Pruitt of Henderson; and Jean M. Abbott of Oxford.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bill McDaniel; and one sister, Faye M. Smith.
The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral home.At other times they will be at the home at 420 D.Y. Hoyle Lane in the Gillburg Community.
Serving as active pall bearers will be James Overton, Joey Nance, R. C. Creech, Sr., R. C. Creech, Jr., Michael Smith, and Michael Smith, Jr.
Serving as honorary pall bearers will be the employees of Breedlove Electric Company.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 914, Henderson, NC27536.
