Edward Macon Satterwhite, age 80, a resident of 624 Dr. Finch Road, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at his home.Born in Vance County on April 13, 1934, he was the son of the late Herford Satterwhite and Fannie Ellington Satterwhite.Mr. Satterwhite was retired from the NC Department Of Transportation.
No services will be held.
He is survived by three sisters, Thelma S. Watkins and Mary E. Satterwhite of Henderson, and Ossie S. Bivins of Myrtle Beach, SC.He was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene S. Harris; and four brothers, Jesse Satterwhite, Willard Satterwhite, Merrell Satterwhite, and Herford Satterwhite, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the home at 624 Dr. Finch Road.
