HENDERSON-Eleanor Fisher Williamson, 83, a resident of Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died Friday, January 29, 2015, at Maria Parham Medical Center.
Born on October 23, 1932 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt Fisher and Lizzie Breedlove Fisher, and was the widow of Edward Thomas Williamson, Sr.Mrs. Williamson was a member of City Road United Methodist Church, the Pridgen-Peace Sunday School Class, and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary .She was formerly employed as a waitress at Roses on Garnett Street where she worked at the luncheonette
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at City Road United Methodist Church by the Rev. Edgar Vegara and the Rev. Robert Bergland.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by two daughters, Tabitha W. Satterwhite and husband, Williamof Henderson and Sandra Bodenheimer and husband, Fred of Parkton; four grandchildren, Casey Bodenheimer, Daniel Bodenheimer, Hunter Satterwhite and Tori Satterwhite; and one great grandson, Liam Satterwhite.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Edward Thomas Williamson, Jr.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Tabitha and William Satterwhite at 3636 Satterwhite Point Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Jonathan Renn, Tray McLendon, Ed Braxton, John Adcock, Rick Dragatta, and Richard Clegg.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to City Road United Methodist Church, c/o Pat Tillotson, 1060 Kelly Road, Henderson, NC27537.
