HENDERSON-Elizabeth Pete Montgomery Brantley, age 72, a resident of 713 Berry Street, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at her home.Born in Vance County on January 5, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert Montgomery and Mabel Williamson Montgomery.She was formerly employed with Harriett & Henderson Yarns, Inc. and was retired from the Golden Corral.
She attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Wiley David Brantley of Henderson; three daughters, Diane Thomas (Ricky) of Williamston, Karen Breedlove (Carl) and Renee Francis all of Henderson; one sister, Nezzie Dinky Ramsey of Henderson; ten grandchildren, Mandy Bumpass, Crystal Church, Sam Francis, April Partin, Samantha Francis, Tiffany Thomas, Morgan Breedlove, Taylor Thomas, Junebug Newton, and Jacob Newton Breedlove; and 8 great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sadie Biggs and Mary Pendergrass; and one son, Timmy Montgomery.
The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Karen and Carl Breedlove, 64 Franklin Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Tony Wiggins, Joe Francis, TC Johnson, Dean Livengood, Mike Reams and Bradley Capps.
