HENDERSON-Elizabeth Morris Currin, age 76, a resident of 3555 Southerland Mill Road, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Edgecombe County on March 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Jack Morris and Frances Harris Morris.She was a housewife and member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Jonathan Owens.
She is survived by two sons, Henry Rick Clemens Currin, Jr. of Louisburg and Paul Currin of Epsom; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clement Currin, Sr.; her daughter, Frances C. Dodson; and her son, LinwoodCurrin, Sr.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of New Bethel Baptist Church.At other times they will be at the home of Rick Currin at 5704 U.S. Hwy. 401 N, Louisburg.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Bethel Baptist Church Childrens Fund, C/O Debra Woodlief, 1149 Massenburg Rd., Henderson, NC 27537.
