Elizabeth Ann Kilgore, age 75, a former resident of 222 Garden Walk Drive died Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Croasdaile Village in Durham.Born on November 11, 1936 in Hamblen County, TN, she was the daughter of the late George A. Kilgore and Marian Shepherd Kilgore.Elizabeth was an active member of West End Baptist Church for many years where she served as a Deacon, a Sunday School teacher in the Senior Ladies Class, and sang in the choir.She was a retired Administrative Assistant from the former Leggett Department Store.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Ralph McGowan.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Ellen Hupp of South Boston, VA and Amy K. Jeffrey of Eastover; two brothers, William Kilgore of High Point and Robert Kilgore of Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 until 1:45 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.
