She was retired from the Department Of Transportation where she worked for 40 years and was a member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jake Roberson and Rev. Milton Abbott.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by a special friend, companion and caregiver, Matt Clark of the home; two daughters, Angie M. Ayscue and husband, Tony and their daughter, Ashley Ayscue and companion James Moody,Jr., and their sons, Nathan and Connor Moody, Renee M. Bibee and husband, Chris and children, Christopher and Taylor Bibee all of Henderson; two sons, Brian Matthews and companion, Lauren Rooker,Ray Matthews, Jr. and companion, Glenda Gupton all of Henderson, and children, Shelby Matthews and companion Joe Bowen and their son, Wyatt Bowen, and Hannah, and Ray Matthews, III. of Williamston; four sisters, Patricia Satterwhite, Rachel Satterwhite, Beverly Satterwhite of Henderson and Jeanette Stone of Kittrell; and three brothers, Jerry Satterwhite of Henderson, Michael Satterwhite and Randy Satterwhite of Kittrell.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Satterwhite.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home on Dr. Finch Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Christopher Bibee, Jr., Ray Matthews, III, Jonathan Smiley, Reggie Parks, David Stanley, Reginald Stone, Michael Satterwhite, Jr., Mike Roberson, Tommy Matthews, Jr. and Michael Brer Choplin.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Community Home Health and Hospice, 152 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27537.
