HENDERSON-Ellen Miller Taylor, 73, a resident of 334 Club Pond Road, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Maria Parham Health.Born on June 10, 1945 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Buford Miller and Addie Baker Miller Twisdale.
Ellen was a former supervisor at Jonbil Manufacturing Company, and was the co-owner and operator of Biddies Grill- Home of Jerry’s Footlong Hotdogs.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 pm at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Charles Ray Anderson.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Taylor of the home; one son, Danny Wayne Taylor of Henderson; one sister, Judy M. Lewis (Charles) of Henderson; two nieces, Tammy C. Stevenson (Todd) of Oxford and Sandy K. Clark of Henderson; one great nephew, Anthony A. Clark; one great great nephew, Jaxton Taylor Clark; and two great nieces, Devin Marie Stevenson and Abbie Stevenson.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 2:30 until 3 pm and immediately following the service at Sunset Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crystal River Church of God, 305 John Deere Road, Henderson, NC27537.
